T & V Fencing recently completed work on security fencing to the joint Worsley/Alcoa caustic storage facility improvement at Bunbury port. This involved the following:
• Temporary removal and re-erection of approximately 420m of existing fence involving the supply and installation
·of new posts and re-use of the existing mesh.
• Supply and erection of approximately 350m of new fence.
• Supply and erection of 3 sets of new vehicle gates.
• Supply and erection of 40m of 1.2m high Colorbond fencing.
Security Fencing consisted of 1.8m high PVC coated link-mesh with cranked posts and 3 barbed top-strands.
The work had to be coordinated with the other components of the project to achieve the required programme and the majority involved working at height on top of the emergency spill containment bunds.
T & V Fencing successfully completed the project on time, to a competitive price and within Worsley's rigorous quality and safety standards and we are happy to recommend them for future work of a similar nature.
